GDPR personal data reform

​

Cabinet ARTLEX is organizing a breakfast on Friday, November 10 at 9:30 a.m. on its premises, during which we invite you to present the General Data Protection Regulations " RGPD".

​

This Regulation imposes many new obligations on data controllers, in particular the keeping of a processing register, the notification of security breaches to the CNIL and to the persons concerned, the appointment of a personal data protection officer "DPO ", or even the implementation of technical and organizational measures to prove that everything has been done to comply with the provisions of the GDPR.

​

As of May 25, the date of application of the Regulation, the CNIL may pronounce, in the event of a violation of the GDPR, fines, the amounts of which may now amount to up to 20,000,000 euros or, in the case of case of a company, up to 4% of the total worldwide annual turnover of the previous financial year, whichever is higher.

​

The Regulation thus requires a global update of practices in the processing of personal data. 

​

This breakfast will be an opportunity to understand the new obligations imposed by the GDPR, the tools to be put in place in order to comply with them, but also to discuss with you.
